Lydia Deetz is a strange and unusual teenager navigating the loss of her mother and an intense fascination with the afterlife. When she and her father move into a new home, they discover it’s already occupied—by a recently deceased couple and the mischievous, fast-talking demon Beetlejuice. Eager to shake things up, Lydia teams up with Beetlejuice to scare off the living—but this chaotic spirit has plans of his own. What follows is a hilarious and high-energy ride through the Netherworld, filled with outrageous characters, unexpected twists, and plenty of spooky fun.
