Dancing to Disney

Musical Theatre Studio: Rock Musicals
Explore the high-energy world of rock musicals with YPC. Sing, dance, and perform scenes from classics like Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, and RENT, and new classics like Spring Awakening, American Idiot, and Next to Normal. Work with a professional music director, choreographer, and director. This class will end in a final share presentation for family and friends.

Just in time for Halloween! Learn how to create dramatic faces and gory wounds in this workshop. Practice skills and techniques for putting your best face on. Are you a young actor who gets cast in a lot of shows? You might think, ‘Hey, I’m doing really great. Why would I need to take an acting class?’ Well, just like an accomplished athlete, a young actor should always be training to strengthen the skills she has. Improv With Comedy Sportz 1

Have you ever seen a ComedySportz or Improv show and thought, ‘I could do that!’ or ‘I wish I could do that!’? Well, now is your chance! Whether you want to become an improv performer or just want to have fun and learn to think on your feet, this is the class for you! Learn exercises on team building, trust, spontaneity, scene building, accepting and conquering fears — and have a lot of fun in the process! Each session will build on to the next. Session 1 and 2 will culminate in a final share, Session 3 will end with a show on the ComedySportz stage!

Private Acting/Voice/Audition Prep
YPC offers private, one-on-one sessions with professional voice, dance and acting coaches. Bring out your best for that special audition, develop as a performer, or just keep your skills in shape! Private classes are scheduled at your request, from several to ongoing scheduled tutor times.
